This product is a coating thickness gauge used to measure the thickness of electroplated coatings or coatings on metal surfaces. It has the ability to measure the thickness of non magnetic coating (such as paint) on magnetic materials such as steel/iron, as well as the thickness of coating (such as paint) on non magnetic materials such as aluminum.
